The market was flooded with discount deals which, although attracted footfall, unfortunately brought in a crowd that often missed the nuances of their culinary creations. This wasn’t the audience they were eager to serve.
Driven by their own experiences and the desire to provide a platform for like-minded chefs and restaurateurs, 'The Restaurant Tour' was conceived. It was a celebration of culinary excellence, connecting restaurants with true food aficionados.
Thanks to the WijnSpijs Walks, we got to know hundreds of inspiring entrepreneurs, from the hospitality sector and many other related industries.
To introduce these entrepreneurs to our audience, WijnSpijs expanded with various other culinary initiatives: the Blog (Magazine), the Restaurant Guide, Travel, Business events (Customized) and the Academy.
Through all these initiatives, we bring our mission to life: connecting everyone with a love for delightful flavors.
